June 2018 was deep in the subway era.
Almost six years into selling art underground, this month captured the real rhythm of the hustle: long days, heavy bags, constant movement, & learning how to hold your ground in the busiest city in the world.
These photos document the “Subway Prime Years” in full motion; selling directly to strangers, building the brand face-to-face, & slowly becoming a familiar name to commuters who saw me again & again on the platforms. No gallery representation, no shortcuts, no algorithm. Just real people, real reactions, & real work being exchanged for real dollars.
This is the part of the journey that shaped everything that came later; the resilience, the confidence, the product, the storytelling. June 2018 wasn’t a highlight reel; it was a chapter of daily repetition that turned into momentum.
