August 2014

It felt as if my dreams were coming true; I had a storefront (inside a maze, but still a storefront) in a DUMBO small business mall. (Hence, why I put my rack into the street.) it felt nice to take a bit of a break from the subway madness. I wasn’t ready with designs to make fat sales like I would be in 2017, so I spent this time hustling while sketching new things that would later pay off in the subway as posters, mostly. I also sold my first canvas in NY to Canberra, Australia. It was “Gumbit x Wine” outside Old Man Hustle on Essex St. Mr. Mitchell set me up, thank you! I also had community service for a graffiti ticket. Classic photo of me in the community service uniform with a big broom in Midtown.
