I debuted my mural at The Nugget Spot after putting a couple hundred hours into it, and I’ll never forget that feeling. Seeing something I lived with for months finally installed out in the world was pure magic. A huge thank you to Jason, the owner, for believing in me and giving my work a real stage.

At the exact same time, life hit me with a turning point: I got the news I had to leave the illegal basement apartment. The landlord was selling the building, and it was time to move on. It was stressful, but it was also a signal. Time to stack up. Time to move forward. I knew I wanted Manhattan, and I knew I wanted the LES. That was the next chapter.
