Orange Russian Print

A stiff drink with a political twist. Released in 2019, Orange Russian casts Vladimir Putin as the bartender, mixing a cocktail with Donald Trump’s likeness suspended in the glass. A spoof recipe calls for “Faik Neus” coffee liqueur, imitation populism, and a deliberately unappetizing garnish, served beneath the instruction: “Collude the following.”

Playing on the White Russian cocktail, the design channels the Trump–Russia controversy into a mock liquor advertisement. Soviet-style lettering, blazing orange color, and tongue-in-cheek fine print turn the era’s accusations, denials, and political catchphrases into a bitter little nightcap.
