“Niagra Falls Spa” transforms one of the world’s greatest natural wonders into one giant hydrotherapy session. After PJ and Jillian experienced the Niagra Falls boat tour together, PJ was inspired to turn the overwhelming mist, force, and chaos of the falls into something playfully relaxing. Lounging beneath the crashing water is a colossal PJ; the giant’s face is the artist’s own self-portrait. Equal parts travel poster, hippy era, mythological fantasy, and New York humor, the piece bridges New York and Ontario with one invitation: Come for the mist, stay for the schvitz.
