This design is a tongue-in-cheek mashup of classic baseball iconography & New York counterculture; reworked specifically for a garment-dyed cement grey ballcap. The washed, broken-in tone gives the piece a lived-with feel, grounding the humor in something timeless & worn-right.

The grinning slugger swaps tradition for attitude, leaning into mischief, nostalgia, & a not-so-subtle nod to alternative “greens.” Illustrated in a vintage cartoon style, the character feels like a relic from another era; equal parts throwback & wink; quietly poking at New York’s evolving cultural landscape.
