Layer Cake of New York Gasoline Jackets
Layer Cake of New York Gasoline Jackets
This jacket wears New York the way New York is built-layer by layer, under pressure, in constant motion.
The Layer Cake of New York artwork across the back is a full cross-section of the city: towers above, infrastructure and underground life exposed below. It’s not graphic decoration—it’s architectural storytelling. From first sketch to final stitch, PJ spent approximately 130 hours developing this design, obsessing over every layer, reference, and detail until the city read true.
Built from 12 oz. super-duty cotton duck and fully fleece lined, this Gasoline Jacket is made for real wear. Pleated elbows and an action back allow movement without restriction, while triple-needle stitched main seams reinforce every high-stress point. It’s structured, durable, and designed to age with character.
Utility is intentional and understated: two angled welt pockets, a right-chest zipper pocket, and three interior chest pockets keep essentials secure without clutter. Adjustable snap cuffs and side tabs let you fine-tune the fit depending on the season and the street.
This isn’t fashion for show—it’s infrastructure you can wear.
A city mapped, cut open, and rebuilt—130 hours at a time.
