Justice League- Judgement Day post card
Justice League- Judgement Day post card
My artwork here is a creative comic book-style tribute to Aaron Judge, the New York Yankees’ iconic slugger. The cover, titled “Judgement Day,” cleverly combines baseball with superhero comic imagery. The bold “Justice League” title, styled with baseball stitching, hints at Aaron Judge’s powerful presence in the Bronx, much like a superhero defending his home city.
The comic features Judge in a classic Yankees uniform, poised in a confident batting stance. The background includes a flaming baseball, adding action and energy to the piece. The subtitle “Judgement Day” plays on Judge’s name and his reputation for delivering game-changing performances, with the gavel at the bottom adding a judicial theme, representing his control over the game as the “judge” on the field.
The phrase “99’s a Problem and a Pitch Ain’t One” at the bottom is a playful nod to Judge’s jersey number (#99) and his formidable hitting power, implying that no pitch is too tough for him. The design is a dynamic blend of baseball and superhero culture, reflecting Judge’s larger-than-life persona in New York City.
It’s a unique and striking homage that celebrates Judge’s role not just as an athlete, but as a symbol of strength and leadership, much like a superhero in the Justice League.
