New York City Arteries Gasoline Jackets

 New York City Arteries was born on the Union Square L train platform, inspired by the giant subway map that once hung there. Walking past it daily, PJ found more than inspiration—those subway lines quite literally kept him alive. Selling prints and sketching underground built his independence, street smarts, and discipline in a way only New York could.

The design reshapes the NYC subway system into a human heart, with trains acting as blood pumping through the city’s veins—a tribute to the city’s pulse and survival.

The Gasoline Jacket is built for real use, not decoration. Heavy-duty construction, reinforced stitching, and rugged materials make it dependable in daily wear, cold weather, and unpredictable conditions. Designed with utility in mind, it delivers warmth without bulk, freedom of movement, and long-term durability—made to be worn hard and trusted everywhere.

The New York City Arteries patch is hand sewn on the back, placed boldly at the center of the upper shoulders, with a PJ O’Rourke signature patch on the left chest and a smaller Arteries patch beneath it. Dense embroidery and high thread count give the artwork lasting depth and presence.
