Right around this time I was pushing hard for my “WEINER FOR MAYOR” campaign. And honestly, it was one of the most fun eras. That campaign had that perfect New York ingredient: comedy mixed with chaos, art mixed with street politics, absurdity with actual momentum. I was dead serious about it in the funniest way possible.

My what-would-become good friend David, a multi-talented athlete, supported it heavy, along with many locals. People were rooting for it like it was a real movement, because in a way it was. It was art + community + humor all packed into one wild banner.
